Learning Writing and Drawing Skills

As teachers we ask ourselves are there enough materials or areas for children to experiment with letters, words, and numbers? These include such things as labels for them to see, newspapers, magazines, writing utensils and paper of all kinds. Over time of providing these materials for the kids we have observed them using them. They have achieved using the materials in the appropriate way in which they are trying to write and draw on the paper. As shown in our pictures this age group enjoys using chalk and markers.
