- Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. So, A pineapple is something you actually eat?
We have a pretend pineapple in the class, and the teachers have noticed that the children are not quite sure what to do with it! So we put a real pineapple in the room a
nd they were so intrigued!

We watched Maryam cut it open! It was "yellow" inside!
The best part was tasting it! MMMMmmmm.......
"More yellow pineapple please!" Or as Luke would say, "More yellow apple please! ;0)
We have a new favorite snack!

The Cockrell Butterfly Field Trip
The toddler 2 class has been doing a big butterfly project! On Tuesday, July 28th, the class will go to the Cockrell Butterfly Center in the Museum of Natural Science. We would like to extend an invitation for any parent and child to attend with us! We are shooting for being at the museum at 9:30 am, so that we can be back for lunch and nap time. The cost is $8 for adults and $7 for children 3 - 11. If you would like to go, please sign up by Wednesday on the sheet by the computer. If you have questions, feel free to ask Maryam.

splash day
Hello!
I just wanted to remind you that we will be having another Splash Day next Friday, July 24th. We will have the sign up permission slip located on a clip board by the sign-in computer. Please make sure that you sign your child up on that permission slip or they will not be able to participate on Splash Day.
Also, I want to remind everyone:
* Make sure that you bring your child in their swimsuit, along with water shoes.
* Please apply suncreen, bugspray, etc. BEFORE your child is dropped off.
* Please bring a towel and a change of clothes for your child labeled with their name on them.
If you have any questions please don't hesistate to ask!

Our Choo Choo
We are finally done! Check out our "CHOO CHOO"....
If you look closely, you can see the train track at the bottom, the big rectangular pieces are the train, and look at how many blue and black wheels our train has!
It is now in our room hanging on the wall for everyone to see ;0)

We Baked Our Own Cupcakes Today!
First we put the mix in the bowl
Then add 1 1/4 cups of water
Pour it in
Mix it up
Keep on mixing
Wow1 We got to use the electric mixer!
